A confluence of wonders

Architecture, history, art, nature and gastronomy. A concentration of marvels in a compact area of Lugano. Close to the downtown area and facing each other across the street are two buildings: one a landmark of contemporary Lugano by the renowned architect, Mario Botta and the other one, old Villa Saroli, in Gothic-Renaissance style, dating back to the early 1900’s. Now the town’s history museum, the villa is set in splendid grounds which have become a small botanical treasure-trove of subtropical plants.

Matteo Pellini’s dextrous cuisine

Mediterranean-inspired cuisine which blends simplicity and sophistication, rigor and surprising culinary meanderings. Multifaceted culinary art favouring local produce, special creations and fanciful presentations.
